Are there spark-free brushes?

LESSMANN offers a wide range of spark-free brushes. They are recommended for use in all areas where flammable or easily ignitable vapors, liquids or dust are present, as well as in all other situations where sparks represent a potential fire or explosion hazard.

The brush body is made of brass for machine-driven brushes and wooden for hand brushes. The bristles are made of bronze CuSn6. These materials produce very few sparks, which ensures low-spark work. Bronze is also extremely corrosion-resistant.

Typical areas of application are industries and businesses where there is a risk of explosion and fire due to flying sparks, for example in the oil and gas industry, pipeline operations, chemical industry, power plants, plastics industry, food industry, e.g. bakeries, steelworks and much more.

Common applications include cleaning tanks or working near potentially explosive environments.
