The use of technical brushes in the metalworking industry is very diverse – and new applications are added every day.
LESSMANN brushes take on a wide variety of tasks:
Deburring
Cut edges on profiles, pipes, (internal) bores, and other workpieces are deburred using LESSMANN brushes. Even hard-to-reach areas on workpieces can be reached using internal brushes or end brushes, for example.
Cleaning
Surfaces made of metal, aluminum, wood, plastic, etc. can be cleaned using LESSMANN brushes. Weld seams are also cleaned using brushes and welding residues are removed.
Removing
Tempering color in stainless steel processing can be removed using rust-proof brushes. Residues, rust, and paint are also removed using brushes.
The right brush for every application
Depending on the application, different types of brushes are available. For very aggressive applications, brushes with braided wires are usually ideal, while for less aggressive applications, brushes with corrugated wires or brushes with abrasive nylon are often the right choice.
Due to their special shape, conical brushes are well suited for processing corners and edges. For example, when processing workpieces in specific areas, end brushes can be the right tool. End brushes are just as effective when processing corners, curves and recesses inside holes.
Mechanically or manually
LESSMANN brushes can be used on machines and systems, e.g. continuous systems, on hand-held machines, e.g. angle grinders or high-speed lathes, or manually, as required.
Versatile
In the metalworking industry, LESSMANN brushes are versatile instruments that can be used for a wide variety of tasks.
