Brushes on brush cutters are very popular for removing moss or weeds from surfaces and edges. To enable cleaning with cordless brush cutters, Lessmann has developed a brush that is significantly lighter and therefore also suitable for cordless brush cutters. This brush has been designed to fit many commercially available devices that are designed for tool changes. The special feature is that no additional adapter is required.
This innovation was initiated and implemented by Lessmann and is protected by a German utility model.
Lessmann entered this new development in this year’s Innovation Award competition organized by the European Brushware Federation (FEIBP). The Innovation Award was presented at the FEIBP Congress in Ishia, Italy, in October of this year.
This prize is awarded annually, and all 80 member companies of this Europe-wide association are eligible to participate.
Lessmann impressed with its new product, beat out other participating companies, and won first place for its innovation by a clear margin.
“We are delighted that our brush won first place in the Innovation Award, beating other products. This is a great endorsement of our work and confirms that we made the right decisions in selecting and developing our products,” said Technical Director Jürgen Lessmann.
