When working with wood, brushes essentially perform the following functions:

Surface processing

When working with surfaces, brushes have partly contradictory tasks: They can structure the surfaces by removing a lot of material. On the other hand, they smooth and remove dust from sanded wooden surfaces before staining and varnishing.

Other functions

LESSMANN brushes are also used in the wood industry for satin finishing, sealing and for gentle transport and storage.

WPC

Brushes are also often used in the WPC (wood-plastic composite) or thermowood sector. In both areas, brushes perform the task of structuring the surface and giving it a special optical effect.
