Photovoltaics

In the photovoltaic industry, brushes are used for various purposes, such as cleaning solar cells, removing dirt and dust, structuring the surface for better light absorption and improving the performance of solar systems. The brushes can also be used to extend the life of solar cells and increase the efficiency of photovoltaic systems. Brushes are also used in the manufacture of solar panels.

Power plants

In power plant construction, brushes are used for various purposes to operate and maintain the systems efficiently.

Heat exchangers are used in power plants to exchange heat between different media. Regular cleaning of the heat exchangers is crucial to ensure optimal heat transfer. Brushes are used to remove deposits such as soot, sludge or limescale from the surfaces of the heat exchangers.

Filters in air and water systems in power plants also contain contaminants. Brushes are used to clean the filters regularly and maintain the efficiency of the filter system.
In addition, the turbines, important components in power plants that are used to generate electricity, must also be cleaned regularly. Deposits such as oil, grease or dust on the turbine rotors are removed with brushes to ensure smooth operation.

Spark-free tools

It is important to use spark-free tools in explosive environments such as near flammable gases or vapors to minimize the risk of fire or explosion. These brushes are designed so that they do not generate sparks and thus reduce the risk of ignition.

Not without brushes

Like many industries, the energy sector cannot do without the use of brushes and thus benefits from more efficient energy generation.
