To seal moving parts, strip brushes are primarily used to seal doors, machines, escalators, windows, etc. They also protect against pollution.
Brushes are also used in tunnel boring machines. Brush segments are arranged one behind the other and seal the tunnel boring machine against the grouting pressure.
