Metalworking industry
Using technical brushes in the metal working industry is very variegated – and every day we develope new applications.
LESSMANN brushes have different functions:
- Deburring of cutting edges on profiles, tubes, (internal) bores and other workpieces
- Cleaning of –also heavy polluted- surfaces out of metal, aluminum, wood, plastic and others
- Cleaning of weld seams: Removing of welding residues
- Removing tempering colour with stainless steel brushes
- Removing residues, rust and colour
- Treatment of areas which are hard to reach: With e.g. interior brushes or end brushes also hidden edges can be reached
Depending on the application several types of brushes are available. For aggressive applications often knotted brushes are ideal, for less aggressive applications often brushes with crimped wires or abrasive nylon are the best choice.
Because of their special shape bevel brushes are appropriate for the treatment of edges.
When working on selective spots end brushes may be the right tool. End brushes are also effective when treating edges, roundings or recesses in the interior of bores.

- Brushes for machinery and equipment, e.g. tunnel machines
- Brushes for hand machines, e.g. angle grinders
- Brushes for manual use
