Brushes are an indispensable part of many machines and systems and are therefore an important element of mechanical engineering.

Automatic deburring systems

In automatic deburring systems, round or deburring brushes are installed that deburr pipe or profile sections at the saw edges. In pipe deburring systems equipped with round or roller brushes, the pipe is rotated around its own axis during transport. This means that the brushes reach all burr edges both inside and outside the pipe and can completely remove the burr or round it off in a defined manner. There are also special deburring machines in which deburring brushes are used.

Continuous systems

In continuous systems, disc brushes or cup brushes are also often a machine component. They are used for surface processing, e.g. for large-scale cleaning or for polishing the workpieces.

Chip chamber cleaning

Brushes are also used for chip chamber cleaning in circular and band saws. A round brush is installed as a component and is pressed against the saw blade. The movement of the saw blade causes the brush to roll and push the chips out of the chip chamber.
